Sharing your Qwilr Pages

Whether you need to share a Qwilr Page internally with your colleagues or externally with your clients, Qwilr has options.

Sharing internally

Qwilr has two ways to share internally, depending on the amount of access you need your colleague to have.

Method 1: Sometimes you just need some feedback or an approval. Qwilr has an internal, view-only link that you can send to any colleague. They don't even need to have a Qwilr account!

While editing any project, head to the top right corner and click the Collaborate button.

From there, click Copy Collaborator Link. Then you can paste that link into any email or instant message. Your colleagues will be able to view the page, but not make changes.

Learn more about this link here.

Method 2: If you need your colleague to have edit access to a page, they'll need a Qwilr account.

While you're editing the page, head to the top right corner and click the Collaborate button.

From there, click on the field to bring up a list of your account's current users. Click on the person you'd like grant access to.

Sharing externally

Once your Qwilr Page is ready, you'll want to share the public link with your client. You can get that link from within the page, or from the dashboard.

Step 1. Each new Qwilr Page starts in Draft status. The public link is deactivated. When you're ready for your client to see the page, you'll set it to Live status.

To do that, click the Share button, either from the dashboard or from within the page.

Then, use the drop down menu to set the page Live.

That action automatically copies the public page link to your clipboard, so you can paste it into a message to your client.

If you need to grab the link later on, click Share. The Copy Shareable Link button is at the bottom of the pop-up.

Note: This pop-up also contains a number of optional security settings.

Using the public page link

Once you've copied the page link, you can paste it into an email, text message, Slack message, or any other form of communication you use with your client.

If you're emailing the link, you can use it to create a text link as shown below. Or, you can also paste the URL itself into your email.
