Navigation allows you to add a table of contents to a qwilr. Letting your clients jump between sections with ease and see the structure of the document you've set up.
Navigation is enabled on a per project basis. When you want to enable navigation you can do so from any block. Click the edit icon and expand the Navigation section. Then click the link to enable navigation.
Once your navigation is enabled you'll be able to choose if it appears at the side or the top of your project.
You can also choose whether or not you wish to display your company's name and email address. If you choose to display it, it will display at the bottom of your navigation.
Once enabled the navigation will appear hidden behind a menu icon that your clients will click to expand or hide.
For each block you'll be able to set the navigation title. There are two ways to do this. First, within the block settings you'll see a field called "Block Label" that you can fill in.
Alternatively, along the side of your screen you'll see your navigation and there is a pencil icon that you can click to change the name of each navigation item.
If you have a block that you don't want to show in your navigation, you can choose to hide it. This is great for Splash blocks or similar. You'll do this within the individual block navigation settings, or within the whole project navigation setting. Check the box that says "Hide this block from the navigation menu?"
Once a block has been hidden you'll see it crossed out in your menu while editing or you can choose to hide excluded blocks.
