Qwilr helps your brand to remain consistent across all your documents. Account administrators can set up their brand colors and fonts in one location, and have them applied consistently across all Qwilr pages produced in the account. The same is true of setting domains. Set once and forget.
Of course, sometimes you might want to make exceptions to your brand rules and that's why we created Custom Styles, where you can modify the style of individual blocks.
You can setup your Qwilr account have 1 or 2 'brand' colors that define the color scheme for all Qwilr pages across your account / your team's accounts.
To select or update these colors, account owners/ administrators should head to the 'Colors' section of the Settings page, check out the video below to see how:
You will notice that colors can be selected from either our pre-populated palette, or if you've got a specific brand color already, a hexadecimal color spectrum. Here are some useful tools for finding hexadecimal color codes:
- http://paletton.com/ (good for finding complimentary color codes)
- http://html-color-codes.info/colors-from-image/ (good for confirming the hex color code on your company logo)
The primary 'Brand' color is used for the following elements:
- Heading 1 (H1)
- Background colors
The secondary 'Complementary' color is used for the following elements:
- Heading 2 (H2)
- Background colors
You can set a maximum of only 2 colors. If you have (or wish to use) more than 2 brand colors, then get started by picking the 2 colors that work best together and that you'll use most. If you or someone on your team is comfortable with CSS, you can use CSS to create and save Custom Styles wherein any and all colors can be used.
If you only have (or wish to use) only 1 brand color, then you can either: (1) set both your Brand and Complementary color to the same color code; or (2) set your Complementary color to a neutral black or grey.
Important note: Your 'brand' colors apply across all Qwilr pages on your / your team's accounts, so changing the Brand or Complementary color will have the effect of changing colors used on all live Qwilr pages on your / your team's account.
Qwilr accounts have a set of standard fonts that are used across all Qwilr pages on your / your team's accounts. These apply for the 3 main classes of text: Heading 1 (H1), Heading 2 (H2) and Body.
To select or update these fonts, account owners/administrators should head to the 'Fonts' section of the Settings page as shown below:
Qwilr supports all Google Web Fonts (roughly 700 fonts). If you're subscribed to the Business Annual Plan or the Enterprise plan and would like to use another web font, just send us an email and we'll do our best to support it.
