Qwilr allows you to create webpages as easily as documents. And because we live in the web, we can do some really cool things around analytics, video, integrations with other software, interactivity and more.
To get started with Qwilr simply create a new Project (also known as a Qwilr Page) or begin with one of our Templates.
Qwilr Pages are made up of content sections called Blocks. Think of Blocks as Pages or Slides. There are currently five block types:
- Text - for Text, Images and Tables
- Quote - for Quoting / Pricing and Accept
- Video - for ... Video!
- Splash - for beautiful splash images and videos
- Embed - allows you to embed content from around the web (AKA iframe)
You can add a new block above or below any Qwilr section by clicking the plus button that lives on the edge of the block.
You can have as many (or as few) blocks as you would like in your Qwilr Page.
One of the best parts about Qwilr is saving and re-using Blocks.
To re-use a Saved Block, just click on RE-USE SAVED CONTENT. You'll see a list of saved blocks that you can filter by name at the top. Select the block you want and it will instantly appear.
To remove Saved Blocks that are no longer required, please head to Library.
Access block controls by clicking the green 'pencil' icon at the top-left of the block.
The control options include:
- Move block up/down.
- Delete block.
- Save block.
- Change the block style.
- Block settings.
WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)
Qwilr is designed so that whatever you create is exactly what your live Qwilr Page will look like on the web.
Okay - that's not 100% true - images or Quotes will sometimes be slightly larger or have more spacing around them in the editor to allow for the Qwilr Editing tools. To get a complete view of what your Qwilr Page looks like, go into Preview at the top of the page.
