Salesforce: Communities (Experience Cloud)

If you use Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Communities), partners who view your Salesforce portal pages can use the Qwilr widget to build their own pages.

Note: The Salesforce integration is available only on our Enterprise plan. You’ll need to have purchased a Salesforce Community license for each member, but there is no separate license to purchase for Qwilr access. 

Note: You won't need to add seats to your Qwilr account. Each community member will need to have their own Qwilr account.

Giving your community members access to Qwilr

Your Salesforce account admin will need to create an Experience Cloud site and add members to it. If you want your community members to have access to the Qwilr widget from your community page, be sure and assign each member the Permission Set for Qwilr.

You can give community members access to any of your Salesforce objects: 

  • Contact
  • Lead
  • Deal
  • Opportunity

Wherever you have Qwilr installed in your Salesforce account, your community members will see the Qwilr widget there. For example, if you have Qwilr installed in the Deals area, but you've given members of a community access to Deals and Leads, they'll be able to generate Qwilr pages through Deals, but not through Leads.

What your community members will see

The first time a community member logs in, they'll see a prompt to connect Qwilr. After they enter their Salesforce login credentials, Qwilr will scan for an existing account under that email address. If there isn't an existing Qwilr account, the community member will be prompted to create one.

Note: As with our Salesforce integration, community members will need to use the same email address for their Salesforce and Qwilr account logins.

When a community member connects to Qwilr, they will have access only to the Qwilr templates in their own account. They won't have access to any of your Qwilr templates. If you'd like to share a template with one of your community members, please contact us for help.
