Deleting your trial account

If you signed up for a Qwilr trial account but need to join your company’s existing Qwilr workspace instead, you’ll need to delete your trial account first. Qwilr only allows an email address to be associated with one account, so removing your trial account will free up your email so your team can invite you to the correct workspace.

Important: Deleting your account is permanent. All pages, data, and user information will be permanently removed and cannot be restored.

This article walks you through how to delete:

  1. An active trial account
  2. An expired trial account

Deleting an active trial account

If your trial is still active and you can access the full Qwilr dashboard, you can delete your account from your Account Settings.

  1. Log in to your Qwilr trial account.
  2. Go to Settings → Account

In the left-hand sidebar, click on your initials then select Account Settings, then choose Account.

  3. Scroll to the Delete Account section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Delete account.

    A confirmation popup will appear.

  5. Type “delete account” to confirm.
  6. Click Delete account again to finalize the deletion.

Once confirmed, your email will be freed up so your team can invite you to their Qwilr account.

Deleting an expired trial account

If your trial has expired, you’ll see a message prompting you to subscribe to a plan. From this screen, you can still access the account deletion option.

  1. Log in to your expired Qwilr trial account.
  2. On the “Thanks for trying us out!” page, click Go to account settings at the bottom.
  3. Scroll to the Delete Account section.
  4. Click Delete account.
  5. Type “delete account” in the confirmation field.
  6. Click Delete account again to complete the process.

Once deleted, your email address will be available for your team to add to their active Qwilr workspace.
