FAQ: How do I add a custom background color to a block?

Sometimes, you might want to go beyond your brand colors and use a custom color as the background of a block. It's a great way to inject some of your client's branding into a page.

You may need the hex color code for the color you'd like to use if you are looking for an exact match. If you're not sure where to get this code, there are web-based tools and browser extensions that can pull hex colors from images or web pages.

Head to the block where you'd like to add the custom background. In its top left corner, click the Block Style icon.

When you are here you can either select the background from your Brand colors or you can choose a different color via hex code or selecting on the palette below.
