Setting up a Custom Subdomain

The public URLs of your Qwilr Pages start with pages.qwilr.com by default. But you can instead set a subdomain that reflects your company - like acme.qwilr.com. This setting applies to your entire account and all current and future pages you create.

Setting up a subdomain

Step 1. Head to the top right corner of your Qwilr dashboard. Click on your initials in the top right corner, and then choose Account Settings.

Step 2. In the left menu, choose Subdomain.

Step 3. Enter the subdomain you'd like to use, and then Qwilr will verify whether it's available or not. When you have an available subdomain, click Save Subdomain.

That's it, you're done!

Note: If you cancel your account and then reactivate it later, you'll need to set your custom subdomain up again.

Changing your subdomain

To change your subdomain, you'll follow the same steps as you did to set it up. It's important to keep in mind, though, that changing your subdomain will break previously-shared links.

We recommend carefully planning the timing of a subdomain change. We also recommend immediately sending your clients updated URLs once you've made the change. That will minimize any chances of a client visiting your Qwilr Page and getting a "not found" error.

Note: Collaborator page URLs won’t use the custom subdomain, as they are for internal use only.
