Setting up a custom subdomain

When you share Qwilr pages, their default URL has as its domain. But if you're on our Business or Enterprise plans, you'll be able to reserve a subdomain that reflects your company - you can set up a URL like This setting applies to your entire account and all current and future pages you create.

Note: This setting is available to account admins on our Business or Enterprise plans.

Setting up a subdomain

Step 1. Click on your initials in the top right corner. Then choose View All Settings.

Step 2. In the left menu of the Settings page, choose Subdomain.

Step 3. Enter the subdomain you'd like to use, and then Qwilr will verify whether it's available or not. When you have an available subdomain, click Save Subdomain.

That's it, you're done!

Note: If you cancel your account and then reactivate it later, you'll need to set your custom subdomain up again.

Changing your subdomain

To change your subdomain, you'll follow the same steps as you did to set it up. It's important to keep in mind, though, that changing your subdomain will break previously shared links.

What we recommend is carefully planning for when you'll change the subdomain. We also recommend immediately sending your clients updated URLs once it has been changed. That will minimize any chances of a client visiting your Qwilr Page and getting a "not found" error.
