Zoho: Products

If you're using Zoho Products, you'll be able to use the Qwilr + Zoho integration to automatically pull sets of products into your Quote!

Creating a Zoho template

To use this part of our integration, you'll need to have products associated with the record needed (Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Deals, Quotes) in your Zoho account. You'll find details on this process in Zoho docs.

You'll also need to have a Qwilr template set up for that record as well. For instructions on how to create a template to use in your Zoho account, please see this page.

Adding the Products Variable

Once your template is set up and products are added to the record in Zoho, you can pull in all your product details using the Products variable in Qwilr.

You can add this variable to two types of Quote widgets:

• A Quote section
• A Plan card section

Adding the variable to a Quote section

1. In a Text block in your template, click the + widget adder (or type /) and choose Quote section.

   

   

2. Click the + icon below the section and, under Line item, choose Zoho CRM Products. This adds a new, fully configured products line item to your quote.

   

3. Your new Quote section also contains a default empty line item, which you won't need. To delete it, hover over the line item and click on a specific space inside to open its menu, then choose Delete.

   

   The screenshot below shows the empty line item has been deleted, keeping only the Zoho CRM Products.

Adding the variable to a Plan card section

1. In a Text block in your template, click the + widget adder (or type /) and choose Plan card section. This adds a default set of plan cards.

   

   

2. Hover beside a plan card and click the + icon, then choose Zoho CRM Products. This adds a new plan card with the Products variable in it.

   

   

3. Your new Plan card section also contains a default plan card, which you won't need. To delete it, hover over the card and click an empty space inside it to open its menu, then choose Delete.

   

   The screenshot below shows that the default plan card has been deleted, leaving only the Zoho CRM Products card.

Filtering the Products display

Whichever way you add the Products variable, it's set by default to pull in all the products attached to the Zoho record you're creating a Qwilr page for. You can see this default filter above the variable.

If you only want some of the associated products to pull in, set a filter:

1. Click Display all on the products line item or plan card.
2. Under Display products if, choose the field you want to filter by: Description, Product Code, Product Name, or Unit Price.
3. Choose a condition, such as is or is greater than.
4. Enter the value, then click outside the box to save.

For example, choose Unit Price, is greater than, and enter 200. Only products with a unit price greater than 200 will be pulled in.

Filters are especially useful if your quote has both Quote sections and Plan card sections. By setting a different filter on each, you can pull different products into different parts of the quote.

Customizing the display of variable details

Zoho Products have many fields. Each time you use the Products variable in Qwilr, it generates a series of related variables, one for each field in the Zoho Product form.

You can use these related variables in some fields of your quote. Start typing two sets of open curly brackets, like this {{ . That opens a list of variables available for that field. For example, you could add a product code variable to a line item's description.

Pulling products into your Qwilr page

In your Zoho account:

1. Locate the record you want to create a Qwilr page from.
2. Make sure the record has one or more Product line items associated with it.
3. Click the Create Qwilr Page button, select the template you need, and create the page.

In the new Qwilr page, your Quote widgets automatically list products wherever there's a Products variable, using the filter you've set for each one.
